Previously: When newborn baby Leo's heart monitor flatlined, doctors prepared for the worst. But a gentle touch from his seven-year-old brother Toby triggered a miracle that stunned the entire hospital.

A Sinister Cover-Up

The relief Helen and Arthur felt was short-lived. The next morning, they were summoned to the office of Dr. Vance, the chief of pediatrics. The atmosphere in the room was chillingly professional. Dr. Vance sat behind a massive mahogany desk, holding a thick medical folder. He looked at the exhausted parents with a tight, artificial smile.

"We are thrilled about Leo's sudden stabilization," Dr. Vance began, sliding a stack of documents across the desk. "However, to ensure his continued care is fully covered, we need you to sign these standard administrative forms. In exchange, the hospital will completely waive your medical bills."

Arthur frowned, scanning the documents. It didn't take him long to realize this was no ordinary paperwork; it was a strict non-disclosure agreement. When Arthur questioned why they needed to sign an NDA for a medical miracle, Dr. Vance's demeanor shifted instantly. His warm smile vanished, replaced by a cold, threatening glare.

"If you refuse to cooperate, we will be forced to report you to Child Protective Services," Dr. Vance said coldly. "We have footage of your seven-year-old son touching a highly sterile incubator. That is a severe safety violation."

Terrified and confused, Helen and Arthur retreated to the hallway. That was when Nurse Michael approached them, looking around nervously to ensure no one was watching. He quickly slipped a small USB drive into Helen's hand.

"Don't sign anything," Michael whispered urgently. "Leo's heart didn't just stop. Someone accidentally administered a lethal dose of medication yesterday afternoon. It was Dr. Vance's nephew, a wealthy resident. Toby's touch somehow stimulated the baby's nervous system, saving his life. But now, they are trying to cover up the crime by forcibly transferring Leo to an out-of-state facility where they can bury the records."

Before Helen could speak, Michael hurried away. Panic surged through her veins. They rushed back to the neonatal ward, only to find two armed security guards standing outside Leo's room, blocking the entrance.
