Previously: When Liam’s wealthy mother abruptly fired their devoted maid Clara, his young son screamed in protest. But when Clara opened a silver pocket watch, a decades-old deception came crashing down.

Beatrice took a step back, her eyes darting around the foyer as she realized her web of lies had completely unraveled.

"I did it for you, Liam,"
she whispered, her voice lacking its usual authority.
"She was a nobody. She would have ruined our family name. I gave Toby a proper life, a legacy!"
Liam looked at his mother with a mixture of disgust and profound pity. "You didn't do this for me," he said, his voice cold as ice. "You did this because you are a monster. You stole my wife, you stole my son's mother, and you made us live in a house built on her grave."

A New Beginning

Without hesitation, Liam called the estate's security team, but not for Clara. He pointed a trembling finger at Beatrice. "Pack your things and leave this house," he ordered. "You are stripped of your position in the family company, and you are no longer welcome near my son or me. If you ever contact us again, I will hand these letters directly to the police." Beatrice gasped, realizing she had lost everything, and was escorted out of the grand foyer in tears.

Liam knelt down on the marble floor next to Clara and Toby. He pulled his crying son into a tight embrace, and then, with a shaking hand, he reached out and took Clara's hand. "I am so incredibly sorry," Liam choked out, his chest heaving. "We can never undo the pain my mother caused. But you don't have to wear that uniform anymore. You are Toby’s aunt, and you belong in this family."

Toby looked up, wiping his tears, sensing the heavy darkness had finally lifted from their home. He smiled and hugged both his father and his aunt tightly. The grand estate was finally quiet, filled not with the cold echo of lies, but with the warm promise of truth and healing. True family is not defined by status or wealth, but by the love and truth that bind us together.
