Minutes later, the kitchen door opened again, and Arthur entered, flanked by the family's senior legal counsel. Arthur’s sharp eyes immediately took in the scene: Megan on the floor in her torn dress, Ryan standing protectively over her, and Diana looking like a cornered animal. Without a word, Ryan pointed to the television, which was still playing the security footage of Diana ripping Megan's dress.

Arthur watched the footage in silence. When the video finished, he turned to his wife. The look of disappointment on his face was heavier than any shout could have been.

"Is this who you are, Diana?" Arthur asked, his voice low and dangerous. "A bully who tears down a young woman on her wedding day?"

"Arthur, she is a gold digger!" Diana protested, her voice rising in panic. "I did it to protect our family! You can't let Ryan ruin our legacy for her!"

Arthur looked at his son, then down at Megan, offering her a hand to help her stand. He gently patted her shoulder before turning back to his wife.

"The legacy of this family is built on honor, not cruelty," Arthur said firmly. "You have forgotten where we came from, Diana. Effective immediately, you are removed from the board of directors. And as for our marriage, my lawyers will be in touch."

Diana gasped, her jaw dropping as her entire world of wealth and status crumbled in an instant. Arthur turned to the lawyers, instructing them to begin drafting divorce papers, before turning back to the young couple.

"Go get married, son," Arthur said with a warm smile. "Megan, you are a part of this family now, and we protect our own."

Though her original dress was ruined, Megan wore a beautiful white silk gown that Arthur’s sister quickly provided. The ceremony was intimate, filled with genuine love and tears of joy. Standing hand-in-hand with Ryan, Megan realized that true family isn't defined by wealth or status, but by the love, courage, and integrity of the people who stand by your side when the storm hits.
