My Cruel Husband Threw Me Out, Unaware of My Father's Hidden Power
A Confrontation in the Grand Lobby
The grand lobby of the Sterling mansion was usually a place of quiet opulence, but today, its towering mahogany staircase echoed with the harsh sounds of a bitter argument. Evelyn stood near the center of the polished marble floor, her hand instinctively resting on her swollen, pregnant belly. Draped in a lavender silk dress, she looked fragile against the soaring cold walls of the estate. Her husband, Charles, stood towering over her, his dark tailored suit immaculate, but his face twisted in a mask of pure fury.
"How dare you speak to my mother like that in my house?" Charles bellowed, his voice vibrating with unchecked anger.
Evelyn looked up at him, tears streaming down her pale cheeks. A fresh, red scratch marred her temple, a painful reminder of the physical confrontation that had just occurred. She gasped for air, trying to find her voice amidst the emotional wreckage of her marriage.

"Your mother humiliated me, Charles. She pushed me, and you heard every single word she said," Evelyn sobbed, her voice trembling with a mixture of pain and betrayal.
From the sweeping staircase above, Beatrice, the matriarch of the family, looked down at her daughter-in-law. Her eyes were cold, filled with a lifelong disdain for the woman her son had married. She gripped the polished wooden railing, a cruel, satisfied sneer playing on her lips.
"Know your place, girl," Beatrice sneered, her voice dripping with venom. "You never belonged to this family, and you never will."
Evelyn felt utterly defeated, realizing her husband would never protect her. But before Charles could utter another threat, the heavy wooden front doors of the mansion swung open with a dramatic, deafening crash. The sudden draft of wind swept through the lobby, chilling the room instantly. Standing in the doorway was Edward, an imposing figure of immense authority, flanked by four stoic, uniformed security guards.
"My daughter, pack your things," Edward commanded, his deep voice cutting through the tension like a blade.
Charles froze, his eyes widening in shock as he recognized the legendary tycoon standing in his entryway. Edward stepped forward, his eyes locking onto the scratch on his daughter's face. He glared at Charles with a promise of absolute ruin.
"And you," Edward warned, his voice low and deadly. "You will answer for every single tear."
