My Father Banished Me From Our Empire, But I Had A Secret Weapon
Previously: When Arthur Sterling publicly humiliated and fired his daughter Natalie from the family empire, he thought he had won. He didn't realize she was holding the key to his absolute destruction.
The Boardroom Confrontation
The emergency protocol froze every single one of Sterling Enterprises’ corporate accounts within thirty minutes. By nine o'clock the following morning, the boardroom on the top floor of the Sterling tower was filled with panicked board members. Arthur sat at the head of the table, looking uncharacteristically disheveled. His silver hair was messy, and his eyes burned with a mixture of rage and desperation.
When Natalie walked in, a collective murmur went through the room. She carried a thick leather folder, which she placed squarely on the table. Arthur slammed his fist down, rattling the glass water pitchers.

"This is a coup!" Arthur roared. "Natalie has fabricated these allegations to steal my company. I demand her immediate termination and the lifting of this absurd freeze!"
Natalie remained calm. She opened the folder and projected a series of financial documents onto the wall. "These are the transactions from the offshore accounts my father has been secretly managing," she explained. "Over forty million dollars have been funneled into a shell company registered in Panama. This isn't just corporate misconduct; it's federal embezzlement."
The board members gasped as the evidence laid bare Arthur's betrayal of the company. Arthur sneered, leaning forward. "You have numbers, Natalie. But you have no proof of intent, and you have no witness who will testify against me in a court of law. You are bluffing."
Natalie looked at the heavy oak doors of the boardroom. "I don't need to bluff, Dad. I brought a witness."
The doors swung open, and an elderly woman with sharp, intelligent eyes walked in, guided by a cane. It was Helen Sterling—Arthur's first wife and Natalie's mother, whom Arthur had publicly claimed had passed away in a private sanitarium fifteen years ago. Arthur’s face drained of color, and he collapsed back into his leather chair, clutching his chest. The ghost of his past had returned to destroy him.
