My Husband Let His Cruel Mother Abuse Me—Until My Billionaire Father Stepped In
Previously: When Sarah's husband and mother-in-law pushed her too far, they forgot one crucial detail: she wasn't an orphan with nowhere to go. Her powerful father was about to make them pay.
A Father's Wrath and Justice Served
Arthur allowed Thomas and his attorney into the grand study. Thomas walked in with a look of desperate bravado, trying to regain control of the situation.
"Sarah, you can't just run away because of a family argument!" Thomas demanded, gesturing to his lawyer. "We have rights. If you don't return home immediately, we will file for emergency custody and expose your unstable behavior to the media."
Arthur slowly stood up from behind his desk, his presence filling the room with an undeniable authority. He tossed the folder containing the conspiratorial documents onto the table.

"You are welcome to try, Thomas," Arthur said, his voice deadly calm. "But before you do, I suggest you look at these."
Thomas’s lawyer opened the folder, his confident smirk vanishing instantly as he scanned the forged medical reports, bank statements showing the bribes to the doctor, and high-resolution security footage from the mansion showing Victoria slipping unknown substances into Sarah’s tea. The lawyer’s face drained of color. He turned to Thomas, whispering, "We need to leave. Now. If this goes to a judge, you are going to prison."
Arthur stepped forward, looking down at his trembling son-in-law.
"The mansion you live in is owned by one of my subsidiaries," Arthur revealed. "Your eviction notice has already been served. The medical board has been notified about your corrupt doctor, and the police are currently on their way to arrest your mother for assault and poisoning."
Thomas fell to his knees, begging Sarah for forgiveness, but she turned her back on him. The police arrived minutes later, taking Thomas into custody alongside his mother. Months later, Sarah gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl, surrounded by a family that actually loved and protected her. She learned that true strength lies in standing up to the wolves, especially when they wear the mask of the people who promised to love you.
