The letter detailed how Richard had forged the documents to seize the estate and how Nicole had actually given up her own inheritance back then to keep her mother safe. The pastor read the final, emotional words of Nicole’s father:

"My daughter Nicole is the truest embodiment of honor. If you are reading this, it means Richard has tried to steal her dignity. Today, the truth sets her free, and Richard’s reign of lies ends."

The lawyer beside Richard looked horrified, quickly realizing he had been representing a fraud. He snatched his briefcase and hurried out of the church, leaving Richard standing entirely alone. Within minutes, two local sheriff deputies, who had been sitting in the back pews as guests, stepped forward and escorted a shouting, desperate Richard out in handcuffs for fraud and embezzlement.
