My Wealthy Husband Thought He Trapped Me Until He Met My Real Security Team
Previously: Fiona thought her marriage to Harrison was a dream, but when his true colors emerged in their penthouse, a hidden panic button changed the power dynamic forever.
The Power Shifts
The silence in the dining room was deafening. Harrison turned slowly, his eyes widening as he saw Fiona standing there, flanked by the very security team he thought he commanded. Marcus, the head of the security detail, stepped forward, completely ignoring Harrison.
"The penthouse is secure, Ms. Vance," Marcus said, his voice deep and resolute. "We await your instructions."
Harrison's face turned pale. He looked between the armed men and his wife, realizing the trap he had walked into.

"Fiona, what is the meaning of this?" Harrison stammered, his previous bravado vanishing. "These men work for our estate. I manage the accounts!"
"They work for my father's estate, Harrison," Fiona replied, her voice steady despite the trembling in her hands. "And that estate belongs solely to me. You are a guest in this home, and your stay has just expired."
She ordered Marcus to secure Harrison in the library while she called the police to report the domestic assault. But before Marcus could move, the private elevator chimed once more. This time, three men in dark suits and tactical gear stepped out. They carried federal badges and had their weapons drawn.
The lead agent, a cold-eyed man named Agent Miller, pointed his weapon directly at Marcus.
"Federal agents! Put your weapons down immediately!" Miller shouted. "Fiona Vance, you are under arrest for corporate espionage and conspiracy."
Fiona stared in utter disbelief. Harrison, sensing the shift, let out a low, mocking laugh.
"Did you really think I didn't have a backup plan, darling?" Harrison whispered, straightening his tuxedo. "Your father's company has been under federal investigation for months. And I was the one who gave them the files."
”And I was the one who gave them the files."
