A Nurse Saves a Sick Baby and Exposes a Husband's Shocking Inheritance Plot
Previously: When Sarah's husband stole their sick newborn to claim a massive fortune, she never expected a brave ER nurse to expose a shocking family secret that would ruin him forever.
The Shadow in the Doorway
As the medical team worked frantically to stabilize baby Leo, Evelyn managed to insert the IV line. Slowly, the erratic beeping of the heart monitor began to level out into a steady, comforting rhythm. Sarah collapsed against the gurney, sobbing in relief, her hand clutching her baby's tiny fingers. But before she could even thank the nurse, Evelyn grabbed her arm, pulling her slightly aside.
"Sarah, listen to me very carefully," Evelyn whispered, her blue eyes wide with a mixture of fear and urgency. "The man who brought this baby in... Julian. He told us the mother had abandoned the child. But I know who you are. And I know who he is."
Sarah stared at the older nurse, her breath catching in her throat. "How do you know my name? And how do you know Julian?"

"Because Julian is my son," Evelyn said, her voice trembling. "He told everyone I died years ago so he could hide the truth of what he did to our family. He stole his grandfather's inheritance documents, and he needs this baby to claim a fifty-million-dollar trust. But he doesn't know I'm still alive, working here."
Before Sarah could process the shocking revelation, the heavy doors of the emergency room swung open. Julian walked in, looking immaculate in a tailored designer suit, flanked by two corporate lawyers carrying leather briefcases. He didn't even glance at the gurney where his son lay recovering. Instead, his cold eyes locked onto Sarah.
"Get away from my son, Sarah," Julian said coldly, gesturing to his lawyers. "The custody papers are signed. You have no legal right to be here. You are officially declared unfit."
Sarah stood her ground, shielding the gurney with her body. "You kidnapped him, Julian! He almost died because you left him alone! You are a monster!" Julian sneered, stepping forward. But then, Evelyn stepped out from the shadows, confronting her son face-to-face.
