Julian let out a nervous laugh, trying to step between Lily and his uncle.

"Miss Lily, this is business. These old people are squatting on prime real estate. My company owns this land now, and we are clearing it today,"

he insisted, gesturing to the bulldozer. Lily turned to face Julian, her eyes flashing with cold steel. She pulled a set of signed legal documents from her briefcase and handed them to him.

"Your company doesn't own this land anymore, Julian. I bought your parent firm's debt this morning. I am now your primary shareholder, and your first order of business is to pack your things. You're fired,"

she said calmly.

Julian’s face drained of color as he stared at the documents, realizing his career was over in an instant. He mumbled a weak excuse before fleeing the scene, followed closely by his stunned legal team. The heavy machinery shut down, leaving a peaceful silence in the afternoon air. Lily turned back to Arthur and Martha, who were staring at her in disbelief. She reached into her bag and pulled out the old, brown leather shoes, placing them gently in Arthur's weathered hands.

Arthur whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. Lily hugged both of them tightly.

"You gave me my future, Arthur. Now, it's my turn to give you yours,"

she promised. Lily didn't just save their home; she funded a brand-new, modern shoe boutique in the city center where Arthur could teach young apprentices his beautiful craft, ensuring his legacy would live on forever, while providing them with a luxurious retirement.
