Previously: When the kingdom's mightiest warrior failed to draw the sacred blade, a dirt-smudged servant boy stepped forward. What happened next shook the empire to its very core.

The Reign of the True King

As Borin's heavy blade descended, the legendary sword in Arthur's hand flared with a blinding flash of white light. An invisible shield of pure energy erupted from the blade, shattering Borin's broadsword into a thousand metal shards. The force of the magical blast sent the massive warlord flying backward, crashing heavily against the stone floor of the canyon. His dark armor cracked, and he lay there, defeated and gasping for air.

The remaining knights stopped fighting instantly, dropping their weapons in absolute surrender. The rebels cheered, their voices echoing through the stone canyon. Arthur stood up slowly, the glowing sword still humming in his hand. He walked over to the fallen warlord, who looked up at him with terror, expecting the killing blow.

"Finish it,"

Borin growled, clutching his chest.

But Arthur did not strike. Instead, he lowered the glowing blade and looked down at his family's enemy with calm dignity.

"My father was a king of peace, not of vengeance,"

Arthur declared, his voice carrying the weight of his new destiny.

"You will face justice in the capital, not death in this canyon."

The rebels and the surrendered knights fell to their knees, bowing to the young man who had proved himself not just by blood, but by mercy. Under Arthur's wise and compassionate rule, the divided kingdom was slowly restored to its former glory. The dark era of fear was finally over, replaced by a reign of peace and unity. The young man who had once been a forgotten servant in a ragged tunic now wore the crown of his ancestors, proving to the entire realm that true strength lies not in the brutal power of a warlord's arm, but in the honor and mercy of a king's heart.
