Previously: Connor was always the quiet kid who took the hits in silence. But when the school's star athlete pushed him too far in front of everyone, Connor decided it was time to show his true colors.

Wyatt, feeling the pressure of the recording phones, lunged forward with a wild, aggressive right hook. But Connor’s training kicked in instantly. He slipped the punch effortlessly, stepped into Wyatt’s guard, and used a swift sweep to send the quarterback crashing to the floor. The hallway erupted into gasps. Wyatt scrambled back up, his face red with humiliation. Driven by pure rage, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a pocket knife, its silver blade catching the fluorescent lights.

"I'm going to ruin you!" Wyatt screamed, waving the weapon wildly.

Before Connor could react, a booming voice cut through the chaos. "Drop the weapon immediately!" It was Principal Vance, flanked by school security and two local police officers. But standing right behind them was a man in a tailored suit—Connor’s father, Marcus Vance, who also happened to be the district's most formidable defense attorney.

A Father's Intervention

Marcus stepped forward, his face a mask of cold fury. He didn't look at Connor; instead, he opened a thick leather briefcase and pulled out a manila folder. The principal quickly ushered Wyatt and Connor into the main office, away from the prying eyes of the student body.

Inside the office, Wyatt’s parents arrived, looking smug and confident that their wealth and influence would sweep this under the rug, just like they always did. Wyatt’s father, a prominent local developer, glared at Connor. "My son was defending himself against this thug," he lied smoothly.

Marcus Vance smiled, but there was no warmth in it. He tossed the folder onto the principal's desk. "I’ve been waiting for this moment," Marcus said quietly. "For months, I’ve been building a case against your family, Mr. Sterling. And today, your son’s actions just gave me the final piece of evidence I needed."
