Previously: When a powerful warlord fails to draw the legendary sword from the stone, a dirt-smudged stable boy steps forward, changing the kingdom's fate forever.

The Legacy Unleashed

As Warlord Borin lunged forward, his massive broadsword swinging down in a deadly arc, Arthur instinctively raised the legendary blade to defend himself. He expected to feel the crushing impact of Borin's immense strength, but the moment the two blades clashed, a brilliant barrier of golden energy erupted from Ignis. The force of the magical shield sent Borin flying backward, crashing heavily against the stone canyon walls.

The surrounding guards froze, staring in utter terror at the radiant shield protecting the boy. The oldest and most respected knight among them, Sir Caleb, stepped forward. He looked at the glowing crest on the sword, then at Arthur’s eyes, recognizing the unmistakable features of the late King. Sir Caleb slowly lowered his sword and fell to one knee, bowing his head.

"The sword has spoken,"
Caleb declared, his voice carrying absolute authority.
"We do not fight against our true King. We protect Him."

One by one, the other guards followed suit, lowering their weapons and kneeling before the dirt-smudged boy they had mocked just minutes prior. Borin struggled to his feet, coughing up blood, his eyes wild with desperate rage. He tried to rally his personal loyalists, but he found himself staring down the spears of his own former men. Realizing he was utterly defeated and outnumbered, Borin dropped his sword and surrendered to his fate.

Arthur stood at the center of the canyon, no longer a despised stable boy, but the recognized leader of a fractured kingdom. He looked at his dirt-covered hands, then at the loyal soldiers kneeling before him, realizing that his life of hiding in the shadows was over. True greatness is not born from titles or armor, but from the courage to embrace your destiny when the world demands it.
