Colonel Miller, eager to please his superior, nodded quickly. "Yes, General. This sergeant assaulted my nephew, Private Tyler. I was just informing her that we are pursuing a full court-martial. We cannot have such undisciplined elements in our ranks."

General Vance walked over to Amanda, standing right beside her. "This 'undisciplined element' happens to be my daughter," the General stated calmly. "She insisted on enlistment and promotion under her own merit, refusing any special treatment. And I have just finished reviewing the actual security footage from the hallway outside the shower room."

The silence in the room was deafening. Tyler’s jaw dropped, his face completely draining of color. Colonel Miller stammered, his confident demeanor shattering instantly. The General explained that the hallway cameras clearly showed Tyler and his friends cornering Amanda, confirming their predatory behavior.

"Your nephew and his friends will face immediate disciplinary action for harassment and filing a false official statement," General Vance declared. "And as for you, Colonel, I suggest you remember that leadership is about protecting your soldiers, not abusing your power to shield family members from their own cowardice."

Colonel Miller could only nod, utterly defeated. Tyler was led away in cuffs, finally understanding the heavy price of his arrogance.
