Major Sterling’s face drained of color as he stared at the tiny USB drive in Lauren’s hand. He lunged forward instinctively, but a sharp, warning glare from General Scott froze him in his tracks. "Sit down, Major," the General barked, his voice laced with steel. He took the drive from Lauren and plugged it into his secure terminal. For several agonizing minutes, the only sound in the room was the soft clicking of the keyboard. As the General reviewed the files, his expression hardened into stone.

The evidence was undeniable. The ledger, the video, and the clear audio of Sterling's threats filled the screen. When the General looked up, his eyes were burning with rage. He picked up his desk phone. "Get military police in here immediately. Major Sterling is being relieved of duty and placed under arrest for treason, theft of government property, and assault on a subordinate."
