I Stopped My Sister's Wedding After the Coordinator Handed Me a Shocking Envelope
Previously: When her sister's dream wedding turns into a nightmare, Sarah must trust a handsome wedding coordinator to expose a dangerous con artist before it's too late.
The Confrontation
The brief moment of joy was shattered instantly. The heavy oak doors of the church flew open, scraping against the stone floor with a harsh, grating sound. Marcus strode out onto the gravel path, his immaculate designer tuxedo looking slightly disheveled. His face was twisted in a mask of pure fury, a stark contrast to the charming gentleman he had pretended to be for months. Behind him, two imposing security guards followed closely, their faces grim.
"You think you two are clever, don't you?" Marcus spat, his voice low and dangerous. "You think you can just ruin my life and walk away?"
Sarah’s mother, Eleanor, hurried out behind them, her face pale and her eyes red from crying. She pointed a trembling finger at Sarah.

"Sarah, what have you done? You’ve humiliated this family! Marcus says those documents are complete fabrications! He’s going to sue us into bankruptcy!"
Andrew stepped forward, placing himself slightly in front of Sarah. His professional coordinator demeanor was gone, replaced by a protective stance.
"The documents are certified court records, Eleanor," Andrew said, his voice remarkably calm. "Marcus has three outstanding warrants for securities fraud in two different states. He’s not a real estate heir. He’s a predator."
Marcus let out a cold, mocking laugh. He took a step closer to Andrew, his guards shifting behind him.
"Warrants can be disputed, coordinator," Marcus sneered. "But what can’t be disputed is how I’m going to ruin you. I’ve already called the police. I’m reporting you for theft of private property and corporate espionage. By tomorrow morning, your little planning company will be bankrupt, and you’ll be in a holding cell."
Sarah felt her stomach drop. She had the manila envelope containing the evidence tucked safely in her bag, but Marcus’s confidence was terrifying. Then, Marcus reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, leather-bound notebook. Sarah recognized it instantly—it was Emily’s private diary.
"If you don't hand over that envelope right now," Marcus whispered, a sick smile spreading across his face, "I will upload photos of every single page of this diary to the internet. Your sister will be a laughingstock before the sun sets."
