They Framed Me At My Own Celebration—But My Silent Revenge Ruined Them All
Previously: Arthur stood accused by his closest peers on a glamorous rooftop. Humiliated and forced to his knees, he lost everything—until a hidden truth turned the tables on his betrayers.
The Tables Turn
Arthur let out a quiet, dry laugh that made both women freeze. Slowly, he reached into his tuxedo jacket pocket. Instead of pulling out his stock certificates, he produced a small, glowing digital recorder.
"You're right, Sienna," Arthur said calmly, his voice steady and resolute. "I was too trusting. But I wasn't blind. I knew about your shell company three days ago. I just needed you to admit to the theft on tape."
Sienna’s face drained of color as she stared at the device. Clara scoffed, trying to regain her composure. "A simple recording won't save you from the bank records, Arthur. It's your word against ours."

Arthur shook his head.
"It's not just a recording. The moment I walked into this room, my lapel mic was broadcasting directly to a federal investigator who has been tracking your offshore transfers for the past forty-eight hours. The security team on the rooftop also secured the hotel's server logs, proving Clara was the one who initiated the transfer from my terminal."
Right on cue, the heavy boardroom doors swung open. Two federal agents stepped inside, followed by uniform officers. Clara gasped, dropping her pen, while Sienna burst into tears, reaching out to grasp Arthur’s sleeve.
"Arthur, please, we can work this out!" she sobbed, but he gently brushed her hand away.
As the handcuffs clicked around their wrists, Arthur stood tall, watching his betrayers get led away in shame. The very peers who had looked down on him on the rooftop would soon read the truth in the morning headlines. Walking out into the cool night air, Arthur realized that while betrayal can temporarily bring you to your knees, integrity is a shield that can never be broken.
True justice is never silent; it simply waits for the perfect moment to speak.
