Previously: Elena was framed and thrown into a maximum-security prison, targeted by the yard's most ruthless giant. But Jax didn't realize who she used to be before her betrayal.

The Alliance of Blackwood

The yard erupted into chaos as the guards realized Jax was no longer on their side. In an unprecedented move, Jax stepped forward, his massive body acting as a human shield for Elena. The other inmates, seeing their leader turn against the corrupt guards, began to chant, forming a wall of orange jumpsuits that blocked the guards' path.

"Back off!" Jax roared at the guards. "The fight is over!"

Realizing they were outnumbered and that a full-scale riot was seconds away, the guards slowly retreated, their faces pale. But the battle was far from over. Jax turned back to Elena, his eyes filled with a desperate hope. "If you're lying to me..."

"I'm not," Elena interrupted firmly. "But we have to get out of here to save him. And I need your help to expose them."

Over the next month, an unlikely alliance was forged inside the prison. With Jax’s protection, Elena was able to smuggle out crucial evidence of the warden’s corruption through a sympathetic nurse. Jax’s gang provided the muscle, while Elena provided the tactical genius.

Two weeks later, federal agents raided Blackwood Penitentiary. The warden was arrested, and the syndicate's human trafficking ring was dismantled. Among the victims rescued from a hidden warehouse was Marcus, safe and alive.

Elena’s name was fully cleared, and she was reinstated to the force with honors. On the day of her release, she stood outside the prison gates, watching Jax being transferred to a medium-security facility with a heavily reduced sentence for his cooperation. He looked at her through the transport window, giving her a respectful nod.

Elena smiled back, knowing that sometimes, justice isn't found by following the rules, but by finding allies in the darkest of places.

The End
