My Ex-Husband Threw Me Out Pregnant, But He Forgot Who My Father Was
Cast Out into the Dust
The gravel of the driveway bit into Olivia’s bare feet, but the physical pain was nothing compared to the agony shattering her chest. Clad in a soft brown cardigan and a simple white linen dress that barely concealed her twenty-week pregnant belly, she stood amidst her scattered life. Silk blouses, family heirlooms, and intimate photographs lay strewn across the dirt like debris after a storm.
At the top of the grand mansion’s steps stood Richard, the man she had loved for six years. He held a heavy leather suitcase, his face contorted in a mask of cold indifference. Beside him was Sarah, wearing a vibrant red summer dress that screamed of triumph. With a mocking smirk, Richard hurled the suitcase down the stone steps. It burst open upon impact, spilling the last of Olivia's belongings onto the gravel.
"Get off my property, Olivia," Richard called out, his voice dripping with cruelty. "You and that child are no longer my concern. Sarah is the lady of this house now."
Sarah giggled, wrapping her arm tightly around Richard’s navy polo shirt. The two security guards at the gate stood frozen, refusing to meet Olivia’s tear-filled eyes. Shaking, Olivia dropped to her knees. Her fingers brushed against her phone, which had miraculously survived the fall. With trembling hands, she dialed the one man who had always protected her.
"Dad," Olivia sobbed into the receiver, her voice cracking under the weight of her betrayal. "Come get me. And Dad... bring the legal team."
On the steps, Richard chuckled, whispering something to Sarah. They thought she was bluffing. But within ten minutes, the quiet afternoon was shattered by the roar of heavy engines. Two massive black SUVs tore through the gates, kicking up a storm of gravel as they screeched to a halt right in front of the steps, their headlights burning bright in the golden hour sun.
