The engines of the Iron Brotherhood motorcycles idle with a low, rumbling growl, vibrating through the damp grass of the valley. Vance sat on his custom chopper, his leather kutte bearing the heavy patches of a lifetime spent on the road. The sky above was a blanket of heavy, overcast grey, threatening rain but never quite delivering. It was a typical afternoon of rest for the club, a moment to breathe between long stretches of highway. But the quiet didn't last.

From the edge of the treeline, a small figure burst through the high weeds. It was a young boy, no older than six, his curly brown hair bouncing wildly. He wore a tiny, faded denim vest that looked like a miniature version of a biker's cut. In his hands, he clutched something tightly against his chest. Panic was written all over his dirt-streaked face. As he sprinted toward the group of rugged men, his foot caught on a hidden root, and he tumbled hard into the grass.

Vance was on his feet before the dust could even settle. The boy didn't cry out from the fall; instead, he scrambled up, ignoring the scrapes on his knees, and ran straight to Vance's heavy leather boots. He held up a crude, hand-carved wooden motorcycle.

"Please sir, buy it," the boy pleaded, his voice cracking with a desperation that didn't belong to a child.

Vance knelt down, his massive frame dwarfing the boy. He gently took the wooden toy, noting the intricate details carved into the wheels. It was a replica of his own classic bike.

"Who made this?" Vance asked, his rough voice softening.
"My dad," the boy sobbed, wiping his eyes with a dirty sleeve.
"What's his name, kid?" Vance inquired, a strange, sinking feeling settling deep in his chest.

The boy looked up, his lips trembling violently as he delivered a line that shattered Vance's world.

"He said if he died, I should find the biker who is my father."
