Toby, a twenty-four-year-old mechanic wearing a forest green jumpsuit, stood silently beside a disassembled transmission. Victor sneered, his voice dripping with condescension. To emphasize his disgust, Victor had backhanded Toby across the face moments before, leaving a painful, bright red welt swelling on the young man's neck. Toby kept his head down, refusing to react with violence, his jaw clenched in silent defiance.

The driver’s side door swung open, and Harrison, a distinguished older man in a sharp black suit, stepped out. Harrison took one look at Toby's bruised neck, his eyes darkening with immediate fury.

"Who did this?"

Harrison demanded, his voice echoing off the concrete walls. Toby slowly raised his hand and pointed directly at Victor.

"He did,"
