Arrogant Billionaire's Son Assaults Poor Valet, But His Father's Revenge Is Swift and Brutal

The sterile gleam of the luxury valeting bay annex was a stark contrast to the tempest raging outside. Rain lashed against the floor-to-ceiling soundproof glass, each drop a percussive beat against the hushed efficiency of the elite private hospital. Inside, the air was thick with the scent of antiseptic and expensive cologne. Victoria Sterling, a young man whose arrogance was as sharp as his aristocratic cheekbones, leaned aggressively into Liam, a car wash attendant whose damp uniform and hunched shoulders spoke of a life far removed from such opulence. Victoria's platinum hair was impeccably swept back, his navy-wool blazer a testament to a world Liam could only dream of. Liam clutched a soaked chamois cloth, his own damp brown hair clinging to his forehead, his eyes wide with anxious submission. Victoria jabbed a manicured finger at a microscopic water droplet on the polished hood, his voice a razor's edge. "Look at this filthy smear, you miserable peasant—ruining my father's arrival!" Liam remained silent, his breath hitching, his jaw tight with unshed tears.

The First Strike

Victoria’s condescension quickly escalated to violence. With a venomous sneer, he yanked Liam's arm back and delivered a vicious open-palm strike across his jaw. The sickening crack of skin on skin echoed in the bay, Liam's head whipping sideways as a crimson welt exploded across his pale cheek. Airborne sweat and water mist flew into the cold cyan glow of the cardiac monitors. "Learn your place in the gutter before you touch my family's property!" Victoria spat, his mockery chilling. Liam clutched his burning cheekbone, calloused fingers trembling, tears welling in his eyes as his jaw clenched in agonizing shock. He felt utterly broken, the sting of the blow nothing compared to the humiliation.
