Previously: When a smug young shooter mocked 72-year-old Irene at a prestigious championship, he thought she was lost. But one look at her registration card left the officials trembling in absolute shock.

A Legend Reborn

Lawrence cleared his throat, his voice broadcasting over the range's PA system. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are in the presence of royalty. This is Irene Vance, the 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist and the legendary 'Specter' of the national marksman division." A collective gasp rippled through the arena. Dylan’s smug grin completely vanished, replaced by a sudden, cold sweat. He had just insulted a living legend, a woman whose records had stood untouched for over three decades.

Richard whispered maliciously. Irene stood her ground, her eyes flashing with a familiar fire. This range was founded by her late husband, and she was not about to let a greedy developer tear down his legacy. She looked at Dylan and issued a direct challenge.

"Let's settle this on the final target,"

Irene declared, her voice echoing with absolute authority.
