The roar of Mason’s motorcycle shattered the quiet sunset of the suburban neighborhood. Tires skidded against the asphalt of the driveway, kicking up a small cloud of dust. Before the engine could even fully die, Mason kicked the stand down. His eyes locked onto Timmy, a young boy sobbing violently on the concrete.

"Please, please help my mom!"

Timmy cried out, his small hands trembling as he pointed toward the front door.

Mason’s chest tightened. He grabbed the boy's shoulders, his voice steady but laced with steel.

"Stay behind me,"

he commanded.

Mason marched toward the house, his heavy boots thudding against the porch. Suddenly, the front door swung open. Richard stood there, his plaid shirt wrinkled, a look of pure malice on his face.

"What the hell do you want?"

Richard barked, stepping forward to block the entrance.

Mason didn't waste words. With one powerful shove, he sent Richard stumbling backward into the dim hallway.

"Sit down!"

Mason roared, his voice echoing off the walls.

He kicked open the first door he saw—the bathroom. There, huddled on the cold tile floor, was Karen. She was weeping, her face pale with terror.

Mason knelt beside her, his rugged demeanor softening instantly.

"Easy, I got you,"

he whispered, gently guiding her up.

He led her outside into the fading warmth of the sunset, where Timmy rushed forward, burying his face in his mother's waist. Mason stood like a brick wall between the reunited mother and son and the front door. Richard emerged, glaring, but Mason stared him down, his voice cold as ice.

"Try it again,"

Mason warned.

Richard scoffed, but the fear in his eyes was unmistakable. He took a step back, realizing the biker wasn't someone he could intimidate.
