Previously: When Lily confronted her ex-fiancé Leo in a crowded diner, she brought a whole biker gang for backup. But they weren't there for violence—they were there to expose a devastating family secret.

Unmasking the Betrayal

Leo tried to slide out of the red leather booth, but a hand the size of a dinner plate slammed onto the table, blocking his exit. It belonged to Marcus, who stepped forward with a slow, deliberate menace. The rest of the biker club formed an impenetrable wall around the booth, shutting out the rest of the diner. The few other patrons watched in stunned silence, too terrified to speak.

"Going somewhere, Leo?" Lily asked, her voice dripping with venom. She stepped around Marcus, looking down at the man she had once trusted with her entire life. Only a month ago, they were planning a wedding. Now, she looked at him as if he were a complete stranger.

"Lily, baby, what is this?"
Leo stammered, his hands shaking so violently that he dropped his burger onto the paper wrapper.
"Who are these guys? We can talk about this privately. You don't need to do this."

Marcus leaned over the table, his massive frame casting a shadow over Leo.

"We are talking privately,"
Marcus rumbled, his voice shaking the salt shakers on the table.
"And you're going to listen. Because if you don't, my boys here are going to have a very long conversation with the local sheriff."

Lily pulled a thick manila envelope from her black hoodie and tossed it onto the table. It landed with a heavy thud right on top of Leo's ruined meal.

"Open it,"
she demanded. With trembling fingers, Leo pulled out the documents inside. They were bank statements, forged signatures, and a property deed. Lily’s eyes welled with tears, but she refused to let them fall.
"You thought I wouldn't find out? You thought because my mother passed away, nobody was watching the estate? You tried to steal her diner, Leo. The very place we are standing in right now."

The very place we are standing in right now."
