How Three Biker Strangers Saved Me From My Wealthy Husband's Cruel Scheme
Previously: Desperate to escape her controlling husband, Clara begs three burly bikers in a diner to pretend to be her sons. What happens next changes her life forever.
The Confrontation Escalates
Arthur froze, his confident smirk faltering for a split second as he stared up at the massive biker. However, Arthur was a man of immense wealth and power, unused to being intimidated. He quickly recovered his composure, adjusting the lapels of his charcoal suit.
"This is a ridiculous, childish game,"Arthur sneered, glaring past Jax at Clara.
"Clara, get over here right now. You don't know these street thugs."
Jax didn't budge. Instead, his two companions stood up as well, flanking him like two impenetrable towers of leather and steel. "She’s our mother," Jax repeated, his voice low and menacing. "And it looks to me like she doesn't want to go anywhere with you."
Arthur’s face flushed with rage. He reached into his jacket, and for a terrifying moment, Clara thought he was reaching for a weapon. Instead, he pulled out a thick stack of legal documents and slammed them onto the table.
"I have full custody of her real children,"Arthur hissed, his eyes burning with malice.
"I paid for the best lawyers, and a judge signed these papers. If she doesn't come with me right now, she will never see her kids again. And if you harbor a runaway, I will have my lawyers ruin you."
A heavy, suffocating silence fell over the diner. Clara’s heart shattered. Arthur had used her children as weapons against her once again. She looked at Jax, her eyes pleading, fully expecting the bikers to back down. After all, nobody wanted to get involved in a high-stakes legal battle with a billionaire.
Jax slowly picked up the papers, looking at them with a calm that terrified Clara. But then, a slow, mocking smile spread across his face.
"You think money makes you untouchable, don't you?"Jax asked quietly.
