Without hesitation, Henry scooped up the toy car and guided the boys to his vehicle. Within minutes, they arrived at a dilapidated apartment building on the edge of the city. Henry’s heart hammered against his ribs as he climbed the creaking stairs, the boys leading the way. When Ethan pushed the door open, Henry saw her. Sarah pulled her sons close, sobbing hysterically.

"That’s not true! I never took your money, and I never wanted anything from you!" she cried. "I only wanted to protect my babies from your cruelty!"

Arthur turned to his lawyer with a cold, triumphant smile.

"Draft the custody papers immediately. We will declare this woman unfit, take the children, and ensure she spends the rest of her miserable life behind bars for blackmail."
