Previously: A proud coal miner, Liam, confronts a smug salesman and a powerful CEO, not with threats, but with a shocking display of wealth. His mission? To buy a supercar for his brilliant daughter.

The Revelation and the Price

The blizzard seemed to intensify around the cathedral steps, mirroring the storm brewing within the small group. Elena Sterling, her initial shock giving way to a controlled, steely resolve, extended the gleaming titanium key fob towards Liam. Her gaze, which had initially registered Liam as just another figure in the snow, now held a mixture of awe and a hint of apprehension. She knew Liam Gallagher, not as a coal miner, but as the brilliant, reclusive mind behind the very technology that defined her company's future.

"Liam," Elena began, her voice softer now, yet carrying the weight of unspoken history, "I never thought I’d see you here, under these circumstances. Vance, you idiot, you have no idea who you just threatened." She turned her sharp gaze back to the petrified salesman, who was now visibly shaking, the blood having completely drained from his face. "Liam Gallagher is the genius who designed our revolutionary hybrid turbine engine. The engine that powers every single one of these multi-million dollar machines."

"This car isn't just a purchase, Elena. It's a promise."

Liam remained impassive, his calloused hand reaching out not to snatch the key, but to gently take it. He looked not at Elena or the trembling Vance, but past them, towards the distant city lights that represented a world he had, in many ways, powered but never truly belonged to. In his other hand, he clutched a worn, slightly creased photograph he’d kept in his overalls pocket – a picture of his daughter, Emily, beaming in her graduation robes.

"Elena," Liam said, his voice quiet but firm, cutting through the wind's roar. "This car isn't just a purchase. It's a promise. Emily… she just graduated top of her class at Johns Hopkins. Straight A's, honors, the works. She deserves the best. She deserves this." He gestured towards the sleek, carbon-fiber supercar, its matte finish gleaming under the harsh lights.

Vance, finding a sliver of his voice, stammered, "Three… three million? For that car? But… it's only worth two!" Elena shot him a withering glare. "You think this is about the price, Vance? You think Liam Gallagher is just some random buyer flashing cash?" She turned back to Liam, her expression softening further. "Liam, you know we owe you more than any car can repay. The royalties alone…"

Liam held up a hand, stopping her. "The money is for Emily. It's a way of showing her how proud I am. A symbol of her hard work, and… of mine. I've spent my life underground, building the future. Tonight, I'm buying a piece of it for my daughter." As Elena watched him, she understood. This wasn't about revenge, or even just about money. It was about a father's love, expressed in the most unconventional, yet profoundly powerful way.
