The Forgotten Boy Who Pulled the Legendary Blade and Changed Our Kingdom Forever
The Legend of the Gorge
The air in the narrow rocky gorge of Oakhaven was thick with mist and the heavy scent of ancient magic. For centuries, the legendary sword had remained embedded deep within a cracked, moss-covered boulder, waiting for the one true king. Many had tried to claim it, but none had succeeded. Today, the kingdom’s greatest hope stood before the stone.
Lord Borin, a rugged, brown-bearded warrior clad in massive dark iron armor, stepped forward. He was a champion of a hundred battles, feared and respected across the western territories. He spat on his calloused hands, gripped the leather-wrapped hilt, and pulled with all his immense strength. His veins bulged like thick ropes, and his face turned a dark purple as he strained against the ancient stone.

"If I couldn't pull it out, no one can," Borin grumbled, stumbling back in defeat.
He turned to his men, his voice dripping with bitter pride. The battle-hardened soldiers murmured in disappointment, believing the prophecy was nothing but a myth. But amidst the crowd of towering warriors stood Arthur, a slender, dirt-smudged young man in a tattered tunic. He was nothing but a lowly stable boy, yet he felt a strange, irresistible pull in his chest.
With quiet determination, Arthur stepped past the heavily armed guards. The soldiers laughed, and Borin sneered in amusement at the pathetic sight. But Arthur kept his eyes fixed on the gleaming hilt. He stood before the ancient boulder, looking up with a fierce, quiet resolve.
"I am Arthur. And I am going to claim you," he whispered.
As Arthur reached out and wrapped his grimy hand firmly around the hilt, a sudden, dead silence fell over the gorge. The wind died, and the earth itself seemed to hold its breath. With a smooth, effortless motion, Arthur pulled. The legendary blade slid from the solid rock as if it were water, erupting in a blinding, radiant light that forced the soldiers to their knees.
