A Stern General Ordered Me to Serve Him Coffee, Not Knowing My True Identity
Previously: When General Arthur tried to humiliate Officer Sarah in front of the entire briefing room, he thought he was putting her in her place. He had no idea who she really was.
The Escalation of Power
An hour after the incident, the summons arrived. Sarah was ordered to report immediately to General Arthur’s private office. When she walked in, she found him standing by the window, staring out at the rain-slicked runway. On his desk lay a stack of official documents, the words "Court-Martial" and "Dishonorable Discharge" clearly visible at the top.
"You made a grave mistake today, Lieutenant," Arthur sneered, turning to face her with a smug grin. "Insubordination is a career-killer. I am personally signing these papers. By nightfall, you will be packing your bags."
Sarah didn't flinch. She stood calmly in front of his desk, her hands folded behind her back. "I wouldn't sign those if I were you, General," she warned softly.

Arthur laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "And who is going to stop me? You're a nobody."
He had spent his entire life climbing the ranks, believing that his authority was absolute and unquestionable. The thought that a woman could challenge him was entirely foreign to his worldview.
Before he could pick up his pen, the heavy double doors of his office swung open. Three high-ranking officials entered, led by Admiral Vance, a legendary four-star commander from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Arthur instantly snapped to attention, his face pale with sudden panic.
"Admiral Vance! Sir, I wasn't expecting an inspection today," Arthur stammered.
The Admiral ignored Arthur completely. He walked straight past the General's desk, stopped in front of Sarah, and delivered a crisp, respectful salute. Sarah returned the salute seamlessly.
"Major Sarah," the Admiral said, revealing her true rank. "Is your covert evaluation of this command completed? We are ready to receive your report on the fitness of this unit's leadership."
Arthur's jaw dropped. The young woman he had tried to humiliate was actually an undercover Major sent by the Pentagon to audit his command.
