To the absolute shock of the thousands watching, the ferocious beast did not charge. Instead, Ranger lowered his massive head, his nostrils flaring as he gently nudged Leo’s trembling hand. The crowd gasped in unison as the notorious "killer bull" leaned into the boy's touch, closing his eyes. For a brief moment, the dusty arena felt like a sanctuary. "Your old man died a broke loser, and this bull belongs to my company. Guards, drag him out of here and get the bull back in the chute!"
