Arthur Vance was the CEO of Vance Global, a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate. Liam had spent the last three years desperately trying to claw his way up the corporate ladder, kissing up to executive board members, entirely unaware that his quiet, humble fiancée was the sole heiress to the Vance empire.

Arthur said, his voice dripping with authority. He gently wiped a tear from Chloe's cheek, his expression softening only for her.

"You thought she was poor because she lived modestly. You thought you could discard her like trash. But today, you've ruined your own life."
