The afternoon rush hour at the bustling transit terminal was a symphony of echoing footsteps, rolling suitcases, and the low hum of thousands of commuters heading home. Without warning, Thomas lunged forward, grabbing Marcus’s arm with a tight, aggressive grip and shoving him roughly against a tiled concrete pillar.
