Previously: He threatened to ruin me, but a forgotten teddy bear held a secret that would expose his cruelty and save my daughter from his grasp. The truth was about to be unleashed.

The Tables Turn

Damian’s cruel amusement twisted into a sneer as he lunged forward. With a harsh, ripping sound, he wrenched the battered teddy bear from Lily’s desperate grasp. He waved the toy patronizingly, his smirk widening as he glanced at his smirking attorneys who had materialized silently at the edge of the room. “You brought a filthy toddler toy to battle my billions, you pathetic beggar?” he taunted, the words dripping with derision. Lily’s jaw clenched, her breath hitching sharply. A single, hot tear spilled down her cheek, but her gaze hardened, a steely defiance emerging from the depths of her sorrow. Damian, accustomed to absolute obedience, carelessly twisted the bear, ready to toss it aside like an insignificant piece of trash. Instantly, the expansive smart glass window transformed. A razor-sharp 4K holographic display flickered to life, projecting timestamped footage of Damian violently raging in their child’s bedroom. Lily’s voice, now imbued with an icy, unyielding composure, cut through the sudden silence. “Press play, Damian… let everyone see who you really are behind closed doors.” Damian froze, his arrogant smirk dissolving into paralyzed horror. His pupils dilated, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed in raw panic. The room, moments before filled with his threats, was now eerily silent, save for the distant rumble of thunder and the frantic pounding of Damian’s heart, now exposed for all to see.
