He Forced His Pregnant Wife to Work, But Her Military Sister Had Other Plans
Previously: When Tyler forced his heavily pregnant wife Grace to clean up while she was in labor, he didn't expect her military sister, Major Davis, to crash through the door and deliver justice.
The Confrontation
While Tyler lay groaning amidst the shattered drywall and plaster dust, Sarah immediately dropped to her knees beside her sister. Her tough military exterior melted away, replaced by pure, sisterly devotion. She pulled out her phone, dialing emergency services with steady fingers.
"Hang in there, Gracie," Sarah whispered, wiping the sweat from Grace's forehead. "I'm here now. You're safe."
Within minutes, the sirens wailed in the distance. Tyler slowly dragged himself up from the debris, clutching his bruised jaw. His eyes burned with fury as he looked at Sarah, but he kept his distance, clearly terrified of the decorated officer.
"You're crazy!" Tyler hissed, spitting a bit of blood onto the floor. "This is my house! You can't just barge in here and assault me!"
"This is Grace's house, bought with her inheritance," Sarah corrected, her voice dangerously calm. "And if you ever raise your voice to her again, a broken jaw will be the least of your worries."
As the paramedics rushed through the door to tend to Grace, Sarah noticed Tyler frantically trying to slide a heavy manila envelope under the couch cushions with his foot. Her instincts kicked in. While the medics loaded Grace onto a stretcher, Sarah snatched the envelope from Tyler's grasp.
Opening it, her jaw tightened. Inside were forged documents showing that Tyler had been secretly draining Grace's savings account to fund a secret apartment downtown, where he had been living a double life. He had planned to abandon Grace the moment the baby was born, leaving her broke and homeless.
"You absolute monster," Sarah whispered, staring at the evidence of his betrayal.
Tyler paled, realizing his entire scheme had just crumbled. He tried to run, but Sarah blocked the exit, waiting for the police she had also called to arrive.
