Previously: When Richard threw his pregnant ex-wife Olivia onto the driveway to move his mistress in, he thought he won. But Olivia's phone call to her father brought a truth he never saw coming.

A Sweet and Decisive Justice

Richard’s face drained of all color. He grabbed the documents from Arthur’s hand, frantically flipping through the pages. Sarah gasped, stepping away from him as she realized the luxury lifestyle she had been promised was evaporating in real-time. The legal papers clearly showed that Richard not only had zero claim to the mansion, but he was also being sued for the immediate return of all embezzled trust funds he had tried to siphon during the divorce.

"This can't be," Richard whispered, his hands shaking. "I... I spent everything on the renovations and the down payment for your new business, Sarah..."

Sarah glared at him, her eyes wide with fury. "You told me you owned this place outright! You told me she was the penniless one!" Without another word, Sarah turned on her heel, storming back into the house to pack her own bags, completely abandoning the man she had helped ruin Olivia’s life for.

Arthur’s security team stepped forward, gently but firmly escorting Richard off the steps and onto the grass. "You have exactly ten minutes to gather your personal effects, Richard. Anything left behind will be thrown in the incinerator," Arthur declared coldly. "And my legal team will see you in federal court on Tuesday for corporate fraud."

Olivia watched her ex-husband collapse onto his knees on the very driveway where he had humiliated her just moments before. The satisfaction of seeing justice served was sweet, but the true peace came from knowing she was finally free. Six weeks later, Olivia gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy. They moved back into the estate, surrounded by a family that loved them, while Richard faced the grim reality of a lengthy prison sentence and absolute bankruptcy.

True strength isn't just surviving the betrayal, but knowing when to let those who love you fight by your side.

The End
