He Ordered Me to Get Him Coffee, Unaware of Who Was Watching the Feed
The Confrontation in the Briefing Room
The air inside the dimly lit briefing room was thick with tension, smelling of old paper and ozone from the flickering fluorescent lights. Lieutenant Sarah Miller stood at absolute attention, her gaze fixed on the ancient tactical wall map behind her commanding officer. She had spent three sleepless nights preparing the strategic report on the border patrol anomalies, yet General Arthur hadn't looked at a single page. Instead, he paced the floor, his heavy boots echoing against the concrete like a countdown.
Suddenly, the towering general stopped. He turned on Sarah, his face flushed with a mixture of arrogance and irritation. He stepped into her personal space, raising a thick, calloused finger and pointing it directly in her face.

"A woman's place is in the kitchen," Arthur shouted, his voice echoing off the cold walls.
Sarah didn't blink. She remained perfectly still, a statue of discipline in the face of blatant disrespect. The other officers in the room lowered their heads, too intimidated by Arthur’s legendary temper to speak up. Sensing his power, Arthur took it a step further. He slammed his heavy palm onto the solid oak conference table, making the ceramic mugs rattle violently.
"Bring me a coffee! Right now!" he bellowed, leaning in so close Sarah could smell the stale tobacco on his breath.
The silence that followed was suffocating. Every eye in the room was on the young lieutenant, waiting for her to break, to apologize, or to scurry away to do his bidding. Instead, Sarah slowly turned her head to face him. Her expression was entirely calm, devoid of the fear he so desperately wanted to see.
"No," she said. Her voice was quiet, but it carried a steel-like firmness that cut through the room.
Without waiting for a response, Sarah turned on her heel and walked out of the briefing room, leaving the general standing there, utterly stunned and humiliated in front of his own men.
