The morning rush at the Golden Griddle Diner was always a chaotic symphony of clinking silverware, sizzling bacon, and the loud chatter of regular customers. But for Sarah, a young waitress with a bright ginger bob and a heart too big for her own good, the world shrank down to a single table. Sitting in a red vinyl booth was a young girl named Lily, her dark brown hair framing a pale, quiet face. Lily sat in a wheelchair, her hands nervously clutching the edge of the table.

Sarah approached with a gentle smile, crouching down to eye level. Lily was struggling to reach her glass of water, her small hands trembling. Without hesitation, Sarah reached out. "Let me help you, okay?" she said softly.

Lily looked down, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

"I, I don't want to bother you,"

he roared at Sarah.
