The ballroom erupted into a frenzy of panicked shouts. Within minutes, paramedics arrived, wheeling the semi-conscious Eleanor away to a private, secure lounge on the upper floor of the estate. Sarah stood frozen, her tray long abandoned, until a stern-looking security guard tapped her shoulder and instructed her to follow him. Terrified that she was about to be blamed for the matriarch's collapse, Sarah was led into a secluded, mahogany-paneled library.

Inside, Eleanor sat on a plush velvet sofa, sipping water. Her husband, Arthur, paced the room anxiously. When the door opened and Sarah stepped in, Eleanor sat up straight, her eyes locked onto the young server.
