Previously: When a ragged stranger claimed he could cure Arthur's paralysis in seconds, everyone laughed. But a simple touch revealed a shocking miracle—and a devastating betrayal.

A New Beginning

The revelation hung in the air like a heavy fog. Arthur looked from the glowing blue inhibitor in Leo's hand to his wife's terrified face. The puzzle pieces of the last five years suddenly fell into place—the rushed medical decisions, Victoria's insistence on managing his estate, and her constant resistance to new spinal therapies. It was all a cold, calculated betrayal.

With a surge of adrenaline and newfound sensation, Arthur reached down and ripped the connection cords of the robotic wheelchair from his legs. He looked at Leo, his eyes filled with gratitude.

"Help me up,"

Arthur commanded softly.

Leo extended his hand. Arthur gripped it tightly. Slowly, trembling but determined, the billionaire pushed himself up. The restaurant erupted into gasps and whispers. For the first time in five years, Arthur stood on his own two feet, tall and commanding.

Victoria took a step back, her eyes wide with terror. She turned to flee toward the elevator, but Arthur’s voice stopped her cold.

"Hold her,"

Arthur ordered his personal security team, who had finally arrived.

"Call the police. Tell them we have a confession of attempted murder and corporate sabotage."

As the guards detained a sobbing Victoria, Arthur turned his full attention back to Leo. He looked at the young man's ragged clothes and dirty face—a brilliant mind reduced to poverty by the greed of others.

"You promised me a few seconds,"

Arthur said, a tear slipping down his cheek.

"You gave me my life back."
"I just wanted justice, sir,"

Leo replied quietly.

"You will have it,"

Arthur declared, placing a hand on Leo's shoulder.

"The million dollars is yours tonight. But tomorrow, you are the new Chief Technology Officer of Apex Neurotech. We are going to rebuild, together."

As they walked out of the penthouse, leaving the wheelchair behind, Arthur realized that his true healing hadn't just been physical. True healing begins when we find the courage to stand up and face the truth, no matter how painful it might be.
