The exclusive rooftop restaurant of the Grand Horizon was a sanctuary for the city's elite. Bathed in the warm, ambient glow of luxury lighting and the glittering neon of the metropolis below, wealthy guests laughed and clinked glasses of expensive champagne. But for Philip, the evening was just another reminder of what he had lost. At forty-four, he was a man who possessed immense wealth but lacked the one thing money couldn't buy: his freedom. Sitting in his sleek, custom carbon-fiber wheelchair, he held a glass of vintage red wine, his eyes staring blankly at the horizon. Five years ago, a tragic accident had severed his connection to his legs, leaving him trapped in a useless body.

An Unexpected Intruder

Suddenly, the soft hum of conversation was interrupted. A young man, barely twenty years old, had bypassed the security at the entrance. He was tattered, his clothes covered in dust, and his feet were completely barefoot. The wealthy patrons drew back in disgust, some pulling out their phones to record the bizarre intrusion. The young man, whose name was Cole, ignored them all. His gaze was locked onto Philip. He walked with a strange, quiet dignity until he stood directly before the billionaire's table.

"Sir,"

Cole said softly. The security guards rushed forward to grab him, but Philip raised a hand, stopping them. There was an intense, otherworldly sincerity in Cole's eyes that intrigued him. Cole crouched down beside the wheelchair, looking up into Philip's skeptical face.

"I can fix your leg,"

Cole whispered. Philip let out a bitter, mocking laugh.

"How long?"

Philip asked, expecting a trick. Instead of answering, Cole placed his hand directly onto Philip's expensive leather shoe. He closed his eyes and began to count.

"One."

A strange, tingling warmth began to spread through Philip's foot. He watched in absolute suspense as Cole counted,

"Two."

In the reflection of his wine glass, Philip saw the impossible—his foot was twitching. Cole whispered,

"Three."

And with a sudden jolt of electricity, Philip stood up. The wine glass shattered on the floor as he took his first step in five years.
