Previously: When a tattered stranger healed a wealthy man's paralyzed legs in a crowded restaurant, the miracle was only the beginning of a shocking family secret.

A Father's Ultimate Choice

Eleanor stepped forward, holding a thick manila folder. "You think you've won, Arthur?" she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. "If you try to keep him, I will release these documents. They prove your entire shipping empire was built on a legal loophole that will bankrupt you by tomorrow morning. You'll lose your mansion, your reputation, and every dime you own."

Arthur looked at the sister who had stolen his son, then at Toby, who stood behind him, shivering and terrified. For ten years, Arthur had defined himself by his wealth, hiding behind his billions because his body was broken. But looking at his son, he realized that his true wealth was standing right next to him.

"Take it all, Eleanor," Arthur said, his voice ringing with absolute certainty. "My money, my company, my houses. Take every single cent. You stole my son once, but you will never touch him again."

Eleanor's smug expression crumbled into sheer disbelief. She realized her leverage was gone. Seeing Arthur's unwavering resolve, and knowing the police would soon arrive due to the commotion at the restaurant, Eleanor ordered her men back into the SUV. They sped away into the night, leaving behind a trail of exhaust and a defeated threat.

Arthur turned to Toby, tears streaming down his face, and pulled him into a fierce, protective embrace. "I don't care about the money," Arthur whispered. "I have my legs, and I have my son."

Over the next few months, Arthur willingly walked away from his corporate empire, handing over the reins to let the legal dust settle. He and Toby started over, building a simple, honest life together. Arthur discovered that his son's healing gift was a rare genetic miracle, one they decided to use to help others in quiet, humble ways. Ultimately, Arthur learned that the greatest miracles aren't the ones that heal our bodies, but the ones that restore our souls and give us a second chance at what truly matters.
