My Husband Believed I Abandoned Our Son—Until He Found Me Scrubbing His New Wife's Floors
Previously: When Elena was forced to work as a maid at a high-society gala, she never expected her long-lost son to run into her arms—or for her ex-husband to finally learn the truth.
A Family Restored
Arthur stepped between Clara and Elena, his stature commanding and protective. He looked down at Clara, his voice dropping to a dangerous, icy whisper. "If Elena is lying, then why did our son just call her Mommy? And why does she have the exact same birthmark on her wrist as the woman in the wedding photos you made me burn?"
Clara stammered, stepping back as her confidence crumbled. Arthur turned to his personal head of security, who had just entered the ballroom.

"Take Clara to the holding room. Call the police, and tell them to pull up the bank records from three years ago. I want a full forensic audit of the offshore accounts Clara set up."
Clara began to scream, her elegant facade completely shattering as the guards escorted her out of the ballroom in front of all her high-society peers. The whispers among the guests turned into a deafening roar of gossip, but Arthur didn't care about his reputation anymore. He dropped to his knees on the cold marble floor, right next to the shattered glass and spilled champagne.
He looked at Elena, his eyes filling with tears of deep regret. "Elena... I am so sorry," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I was so blinded by grief and anger that I didn't see the snakes in my own home. Can you ever forgive me?"
Elena looked at her husband, seeing the genuine remorse in his eyes, and then down at Noah, who was smiling through his tears. She knew that healing would take time, and the scars of the past three years would not vanish overnight. But as Arthur reached out and wrapped both of them in a fierce, protective embrace, she knew the nightmare was finally over.
True love and a mother's bond can never be erased by wealth or deception, for the truth always finds its way back home.
