Julian groaned on the floor, clutching his bleeding jaw, while Vanessa shrieked in terror, trying to scramble away from the doorway. Sarah didn't give them a second glance. Let's show them the security camera footage of you kicking your pregnant wife. I'm sure the judge will love it." Julian froze, realizing his own outdoor cameras had captured everything.

Once Clara was safe and warm in a local hospital, the devastating truth began to unravel. Clara revealed that Julian had been acting strangely for months. Sarah, suspicious of Julian's sudden desire to evict Clara, used her military clearance and connections to dig into Julian’s financial records. What she discovered was a sickening web of deceit. Julian had systematically forged Clara's signature to liquidate her late father's trust fund—an inheritance worth over half a million dollars. He had transferred every cent into an offshore account registered under Vanessa’s name, planning to leave Clara homeless and broke while he fled the country with his mistress.
