Previously: When Kyle found his wife Rachel sobbing in a dirty apron during their upscale party, his mother dismissed it. But the truth behind her tears changed their family forever.

A Mother’s Betrayal Exposed

"How dare you speak to me like that, Kyle!"
Evelyn hissed, her voice dropping to a harsh whisper to avoid drawing the attention of the remaining guests.
"I raised you. I built the connections that made your career possible. And you would insult me for this... this girl?"

Rachel explained, her voice trembling but clear.
"And when I refused, she told me she would make my life a living hell, starting tonight by showing everyone 'what I was good for'."

Kyle stared at his mother, the last shred of his respect for her evaporating into nothingness.
