But more importantly, as the co-trustee of the family estate, I must inform you that Margaret holds sole power of attorney over the trust until her passing. And today, she was planning to hand over a portion of it to you."

Margaret stood tall, wiping her tears, her voice suddenly steady. "Not anymore. I am revoking every cent. You will both get nothing."

Panic washed over Edward, but the final blow came from Clara. She stepped forward, holding a medical chart. "And Edward, before you worry about the money, you might want to look at your son’s blood type. It’s O-negative. Since you are AB-positive, it is scientifically impossible for you to be his biological father."
