Mark stared at Johanda, his mind racing as her words echoed in the sterile room. "What do you mean, Johanda? What are you trying to tell me?" he asked, squeezing her cold hand. Lily stood quietly at the foot of the bed, her tear-stained face filled with a maturity no child should possess.

Johanda took a shallow, painful breath.

"Lily has a twin brother, Mark. His name is Leo. You have a son."

The revelation left Mark speechless. He had a son and a daughter, kept secret from him for six years. "Where is he?" Mark demanded, looking around the empty room. "Why isn't he with you?"

Tears spilled from Johanda's eyes.

"Your mother, Evelyn... she found out I was pregnant back then. She told me I would ruin your promising future. She offered to pay for my medical treatments, but only if I gave up one of the babies to a wealthy family she chose, and left the city forever. I was sick, broke, and desperate, Mark. I had no choice."

Furious, Mark pulled out his phone and called his mother. When Evelyn answered, demanding to know why he had abandoned Vanessa at the altar, Mark cut her off. "I know what you did six years ago, Mother. Where is my son, Leo?" Evelyn gasped, and the line went dead.

Before Mark could process the betrayal, the hospital room door swung open. It wasn't his mother who entered, but a tall man in a tailored suit holding the hand of a young boy who looked exactly like Lily. Mark gasped as he recognized the man. It was Richard, Vanessa's older brother.

"Mark, your mother just called me in a panic," Richard said, his voice shaking. "Six years ago, she arranged for my wife and me to adopt a baby boy. I never knew he was yours... until now."
