Mob Boss's Daughter Framed, But Her Father's Revenge Was Swift and Brutal
Previously: Clara, a diner server, is violently assaulted by a mob enforcer. She turns to her estranged father, the legendary crime boss, for justice, setting in motion a brutal chain of events.
Blood and Vengeance
Julian, emboldened by his perceived dominance, turned back towards Clara, raising his fist to strike again. His arm drew back, a terrifying arc of violence poised to descend. But in that instant, the world exploded. General Davis erupted from his seat with the speed of a volcanic eruption. His massive frame intercepted Julian's blow mid-arc, his iron grip clamping onto Julian's wrist with an audible *crunch* of cartilage. Julian froze, his momentum obliterated. Davis's voice, a low, gravelly rumble that promised annihilation, filled the space between them.
"Touch my long-lost daughter again, Julian, and I will tear your soul from your ribcage."Julian's smugness shattered, replaced by a mask of paralyzed terror. His eyes widened, his throat bobbing frantically. Davis didn't pause. With a surge of raw power, he twisted Julian's captured arm, forcing a strangled grimace from the mob lieutenant. Then, with lethal fury, Davis lunged, his massive hand clamping around Julian's throat. He hoisted the full-grown man entirely off his feet, slamming him down with brutal force. SLAM! Julian's back and skull collided with the Carrara marble table, shattering the thick stone slab. Rainwater, broken espresso cups, and shards of marble exploded outwards.
"Kneel before the sole heir of the Davis crime syndicate, traitor!"
Clara watched, her jaw slack with disbelief, as her abuser was pinned, helpless. Her trembling hands, moments before clutching her bruised cheek, slowly lowered. General Davis, his face a mask of controlled fury, pressed Julian's face into the fractured marble. He then reached down and, with his teeth, pulled off his black leather glove, revealing a legendary signet ring. He pressed it into Clara's shivering palm. The rain poured down, mingling with the tears that now streamed down her face. But her terror was hardening, morphing into a steely resolve. Her gaze, locked onto Julian's bulging, bloodshot eyes, was no longer that of a victim, but of a sovereign. Davis drew a heavy obsidian revolver, the slide racking back with a crisp, menacing sound. Clara's voice, when she spoke, was icy and unyielding, imbued with a newfound authority.
"Put him in the river, Father—he has lived one minute too long."Julian Vance, trapped beneath her father's immense strength and facing Clara's chilling command, could only whimper, choked bubbles of blood foaming at his lips. The rain washed over the scene, a baptism of vengeance. The daughter of the crime boss had found her power, and the traitor had met his end.
