My Mother-in-Law Tore My Wedding Dress and Framed Me But My Cameras Caught Everything
The Ruined Dress
The morning of my wedding was supposed to be a dream, but it quickly devolved into a nightmare inside the spacious kitchen of my future in-laws' estate. The exposed brick walls and high-end finishes felt cold and imposing, much like the woman standing over me. Eleanor, my groom’s mother, dressed in an elegant navy blue gown, looked down at me with pure disgust. I was sobbing on the hardwood floor, my hands desperately clutching the torn lace of my bridal gown.
"You don't belong in this family," Eleanor said, her voice dripping with ice.
My fingers trembled against the ruined fabric. The dress I had saved for months to buy was shredded down the middle, the delicate lace destroyed by her vicious hands. "Please don't do this, you ripped my dress," I cried, looking up at her, hoping for a shred of humanity. But there was none. She only smirked, her eyes gleaming with triumph.

"And no one is going to believe you," she replied coldly.
Before I could respond, the kitchen door swung open. David, my fiancé, rushed in wearing his beige wedding suit, his face pale with worry. "Mom, what happened here?" he asked, looking between his sobbing bride and his composed mother. Eleanor immediately shifted her expression to one of deep, fake concern, ready to paint me as unstable. But I didn't give her the chance.
I reached for my phone on the counter and tapped the screen. Instantly, the wall-mounted television in the kitchen flickered to life, displaying the live security feed from the camera we had installed just days prior. The footage clearly showed Eleanor grabbing my dress and tearing it with malicious intent. "I didn't need you to believe me," I whispered. David stared at the screen, his jaw dropping in horror as he realized his mother's cruelty. "What have you done?" he gasped, looking at Eleanor, who stood frozen. I looked up at her and whispered, "The cameras."
