Previously: When stable boy Toby noticed his employer's wife tampering with the family helicopter, he risked everything to stop a deadly flight, exposing a web of betrayal and greed.

The silence between Arthur and Eleanor grew deafening, louder even than the roaring helicopter rotors. Arthur’s eyes, usually warm and loving when looking at his wife, turned to chips of ice. He took a slow step back from the aircraft, his gaze never leaving Eleanor's pale face.

The Mask Slips

"Well, Eleanor?" Arthur asked, his voice low and dangerously calm. "Toby has made a very specific accusation. Why don't we climb aboard together? We can fly to Chicago side by side, just as we planned."

Eleanor forced a high-pitched, mocking laugh, but her hand trembled as she adjusted her diamond earrings. "Arthur, darling, surely you aren't listening to this pathetic stable boy? He is clearly delusional. He probably had an accident in the barn and lost his mind."

"If he's lying, you have nothing to fear," Arthur countered, gesturing toward the open cabin door. "Get in, Eleanor. Let's go."

Eleanor took a step backward, her elegant posture crumbling. Seeing that her husband was not going to back down, her face contorted with bitter hatred. She realized her plan to inherit the Sterling fortune through a tragic aviation accident had just been shattered. Reaching into her small designer clutch, she didn't pull out a lipstick, but rather a small, electronic detonator.

"You old fool," she hissed, her voice dripping with venom. "I wasn't going to let you divorce me and leave me with pennies because of that ridiculous prenuptial agreement. If I can't have your billions, no one will!"

Toby gasped as Eleanor's thumb hovered over the red trigger. She wasn't just threatening to blow up the empty helicopter; she was ready to detonate it right there on the lawn, killing everyone within a fifty-yard radius. Arthur stood frozen in shock, staring at the monster disguised as his loving wife. Toby knew that if he didn't act within the next three seconds, they would all be blown to pieces.
